AfroDelishus | What do you think about weaves ?

Well Hello There AfroDelishus Readers, I am extremely sorry for not blogging sooner. But anywho here goes.. What do you think of weave ? Why do people wear them?Does it make them look better? I have no problem with people wearing weave, but what is the reason behind them choosing to wear weave? Is it easier to look after ? Or are they being lazy and looking for the "easy" way out? Personally I don't feel comfortable with having someone elses hair or chemical made hair glued or sown into my head. Doesn't it damage your hair? Or does it depend on how much time, care and attention you give to your hair? As I have said before, I have never had...

AfroDelishus | It's Not Always Easy

!! ARGGHHH!!! Frustrated, Angry , AnnoyedThose are just a few adjectives a felt two days ago whilst trying to do my hair. I made me realise that it isn't always easy. It takes time, care and attention. You need to be patient and take it easy. Its very easy to quit if you don't get it right the first time, but you have to learn sometime it doesn't always work the way you want it to. It just comes down to 4 top words: Patience TimeCareAttentionIt's simple really, just remember never give up , because in the long run it always ends up working for your benefit in the end...

AfroDelishus| Don't touch my hair

Once upon a time there was a girl called Princess Rianna, whenever she went to school people frequently asked her how she changed hair styles and could they touch her hair. Now this question bugged her immensely. Could they touch her hair? No was her answer. But yet they still tried to touch her hair. Sometimes it worked, sometimes she used her amazing reflexes. But it still bugged her, especially one boy called Christian who decided that he would come up behind her , touch her hair and call her "Candy Floss Hair" Then walk off. He was a very strange character after telling him repeatedly not to touch her hair, Rianna got extremely annoyed...

AfroDelishus|"Good" Hair?

Today I’m going to be talking about a very important issue within the black community. I have heard young black girls talk about how they want to have hair like their white friends. They don’t think that having kinky hair is acceptable and it makes them “lower class” and they come home crying home about how they got teased about having “kinky” or “nappy” hair. The solution for quite a few parents is to relax* or texlax** there child's hair so that the child avoids being bullied. It may seem a very good idea at that time but have they actually listened to what the child has said, they don’t seem to appreciate their heritage and wish to be white because they have “good hair”. I don’t think there is such a thing as good or bad hair , there are just different types and textures, all hair is...

I’ll be showing you which hair products have helped me reach the place where i am today and products other people have recommend...
